Danai Michali

The back of the card propped against driftwood on a green ground, her name and what she practises set in Greek
Overview

Danai is a systemic counsellor. Her mark is an arch with a floral shape inside it — a window into the therapy.

The whole stationery set laid flat - letterhead, notebook, patterned folder, a line drawing of a plant and the business cards
Social media

The shape inside is simplified far enough to read as a Rorschach blot, which is deliberate. The posts carry the same look — over thirty of them now, one topic at a time, each opening with its own illustration.

  • An illustration to open
  • Typography cards that explain it
A social post: a face almost buried under a dense scribble, only the eyes and mouth showing through, titled overthinking
A post built as a jigsaw - a classical face line-drawn across the pieces, some of them lifted away, titled the sharing
A post looking straight down at a swimmer floating in deep blue sea, gulls and their shadows around her, titled the expectations of a holiday
A post with a hand-painted pink armchair on cream, titled individual systemic counselling
A post with a drawn stem of pink flowers and two butterflies, titled family counselling
A post of a floral teacup knocked over, the tea flying out of it in a hard splash, titled the right to have needs
A post laid out as a grid of dark green cards, one lit acid green with a figure standing in it, titled jealousy
A post with two brush-painted figures walking away from each other, their legs dissolving into strokes, titled fear of abandonment
A post built as a word search, NEW YEARS and TWENTY TWENTY SIX ringed in terracotta and blue, titled why resolutions often do not work
A post of two birds sitting apart on a wire against a full moon, titled the silent resignation inside a relationship
